I just got empire earth 2 and the units are really fast on normal speed! When I made a plane it was like it was going to speed of light. I have to make the game pace slow just so the units walk normally, is there any way to make them walk normally and the planes to not fly so fast with out having to slow the entire game down?

If it's anything like old Command & Conquer games on new systems, it might be due to the game's internal "timer" being tied to the system's bus/cpu speed....leading such games to run much faster on newer systems.

Dunno about that game, but there are some mods online that help with such issues in general...maybe there's also one for EE2 on the proper boards/sites.

You might be able to use a CPU grabber or affinity/priority levels to pull it down to proper period speed.

I remember EE2 working pretty well on modern day systems. It might be that the speed of airplanes is intended to appear much higher than the average walker.

Maybe try the unofficial patch , it seems to fix some things.

Thank you I will try it and I think it was seeming like it was going fast because I was not used to it but now I feel much more comfortable with the game’s pace.
