They really love Steam.

KnThrak: Bumping this, getting Binding of Isaac Rebirth on gog.com instead of Humble was something I had hoped for to show support. One lost sale. :(
No lost sale here because they didn't even bother to provide a drm-free version on the humble store. They can keep their steam keys for themselves (damn, I don't know any "angry" emoticon to place here)

Will Team Meat join GOG in 2015?
I hope so, though I'm only interested in Super Meat Boy.

Foxhack: ... hasn't that game been completely broken for the past two years, with no fix in sight?
avatar
Barry_Woodward: Not that I know of. Broken in what way? If it does have a few kinks to work out, perhaps that's all the more reason to release it here, as perhaps the GOG technicians could work their magic on it?
Broken achievements. Would not matter for a GOG release.
Bump!
Same question. It's strange that his games are not on GOG. Maybe he loves Steam very much. :/ But he sells DRM-free version of his games on Humble Bundle. So why not GOG? :(

Barry_Woodward: Does anyone have any idea why Edmund McMillen's games haven't been made available on GOG?
avatar
Azhdar: So why not GOG?
The GOG staff found his games fun but in the end decided that they were too niche and weren't something that GOG users would be interested in.

Even The Binding of Isaac and its remake Rebirth? How a top-rated and interesting roguelike is too niche? I think GOG should reconsider it.
Either exclusive binding contracts or not enough interest to motivate them to go through the process of signing another. Probably the latter.

You know this for a fact? That seems ridiculous.
Nice necro. Also - GoG would consider Call of Duty "too niche"... also terrible but still too niche :p
Why aren't these here yet? :\
