I wasn`t sure where to post this, so I posted it here.
I tend to review most games bought on GOg, but recently some of my reviews have not show up. these tend to be my 3 star or lower reviews (all the top scores appear). This also tends to be with newly released games, King Arthur being one of them.

What`s going on?

There were other reports of this kind already.

If I were to guess I'd say that GOG introduced some system that automatically removes reviews that receive a given amount/percentage of Not-Helpful votes.

Did your reviews disappear, or not show up at all? If it's the former did you notice how they were voted before they disappeared?
This has happened before and I attribute this to a glitch. I can see many low-star reviews both indicated "helpful" or "unhelpful" normally on other games.

They simply don`t show up at all. But it knows I made a review since it shows the score I gave it. the thing is it`s happening too many times to be just a bug or coincidence. It really is like they`re vetting certain reviews, no matter what they say because the rating is 3 or lower. Even Amazon doesn`t do this.

I don`t want to say too much before knowing the facts, but if they are restricting `negative` reviews under some `agreement` made then I find that rather despicable of GOG and not a good sign for the future.
Did they think we wouldn`t notice? Is that how they treat the customer? I`ve bought lots of games from them. That`s not the kind of respect I, or anyone else, should expect for using GOG and helping GOG.

Did you contact support about it already. Would be interesting what they reply to this, if anything?
I don't anything of my reviews ever showed up on the game page. I just accepted it as broken.

I've had this too - seems if I write a second review it tends to appear, but the first just seems to get gobbled - though it takes my rating.
Only had this happen with a review that is not favourable to the game.

Well I always go on the forum first just in case I`m going crazy and imagining it!

I will send my issue to contact support and see what they say.

It certainly puts me off bothering again as my reviews tend to be quite indepth and informative. So once you do all that and it just vanishes, you think, `Screw it!` Maybe that`s exactly what they want.

From now on I will do all my reviews on my pc and save, then paste them to GOG just in case they vanish again.

Same here. I have two reviews posted (both positive, both in content and rating) and while my rating is registered, the reviews simply don't show up. Has there been an explanation for this?
I remember I made very good review for some game and it didn't show up as if something glitched. It allowed me to make another review for that game, but I wish I had it written in Notepad first...
This is beginning to look like a recurring problem. Has there ever been any word or acknowledgment from GOG on this matter?
Happend to me too :-( a 4/5 star review so I think the score has nothing to do with the problem.
Judging by the following (can't post links, but look for the topic "my reviews arent showing up"), it appears to be a question of, well, keep posting your review until it does show up.

There has got to be a more elegant solution for these elusive reviews...
That seems a silly way of posting a review.
I wrote a review of Shantae some time ago that never showed up. Thankfully had it copied to the clipboard so tried again with the same result, so I gave up, thought perhaps Gog had introduced moderated user reviews.

Then the same thing happened about 4 hours later when trying to leave a review on Steam, tried that 3 times across 3 days and I figured various servers had just gotten wise to the fact I type too much and apparently say too little :-D
Considering GOG seems to read through every review in order to screen them, it no longer surprises me when my reviews don't appear. It probably takes up far too much of their time.

They do however seem to automatically acknowledge your actual score for the game, the 1-5 rating you give.
This makes sense because its just a number, no screening needed.

It is still somewhat annoying to not see your review posted when you've spend 30-60 minutes writing a comprehensive review, correcting your spelling and grammar, choosing your wording and all that.
