WOULD YOU MESS WITH A CRIME SCENE?

Also, GOG is a business. They're free to do whatever the [redacted] they want with content.

If you're in a cafe or a public library or whatever and someone vomits deliberately on the ground (not sickness or other uncontrolled happenstance), and someone else turns the place into a big public toilet and no one is there to clean up. Will you stay in that place?

The answer is hopefully "no". Exactly. You wouldn't stay in a place that stinks and rots, you'll ask for it to be cleaned. Guess what, most of us like being in a clean place.

True. But I do think a screenshot of a post that results in a warning or a ban should be taken and sent to the user along with the information about said mod action.

You seem to need some help. Not doctors, many of them just nod and throw pills at you these days. Maybe talk things out in private with users you feel comfortable with or talk to family and friends? Things will get better if you put in some effort. Just give it an honest go for a little while and see what comes of it.

If you're that worried about some random ass forum or whatever deleting posts, nothing is stopping you from archiving those posts before they go down.

There are a lot of valid reasons to delete shit online.

here's a cognitive fact:
i as a old old user of the internet when the internet was just a bund of dial up numbers...
i have always been active online carving up a universe of my own and giving developers, artists, musicians, engineers pieces of my soul.

41 years old now and each time the internet purges old content i lost a lot of pieces of me i made.
that's not even the stuff developers hated and banned me for but still had the audacity to subsist on my idea.

created a world where people are easily irresponsible and actually hurt the people that want to help them be huge.
