Whether someone still can remember this guy?

viperfdl: My research resulted in the name Noober.

Leroux: Correct! Your turn.
WT...? So it was actually BG?
I mean, that was my first suspicion, of course (and any other Infinity Engine Game)...but I could nowhere find/confirm that specific frame around the "speechbubble".

That would be Mudd from Gothic 1.

I think the screenshots are from the Enhanced Edition, and if you look closely, you'll see that I blacked out the name tag above the text.

EDIT: Although, you're right, the corners of the frame do look a bit different than the ones in the EE screenshots. So they're probably from the classic version, and pictures from that old game are hard to find now due to all the EE screenshots? In any case, I didn't really pay attention to that, I thought everybody who's played BG at some point would immediately recognize Noober ... :D

It must have been 15+ years now, that I last played it.
And I am terrible in real life when it comes to remembering names - and even worse when it comes to in-game names. ;)

But that's ok...I am satisfied with the correctness of my first assumption that it was indeed BG
(respectively: one of the IE games)

It's the "detective" aspect, in these "what X is this?" threads, that I really enjoy. :)

That's what I assume, too. And I tried to find "old" screenshots, but as you say...it's hard to do, when all Google gives you is the new version. And I really didn't want to install the classic version just to confirm my suspicion - somewhere must be a line drawn. XD

Well, it took me longer to take that screenshot than it took you to identify her. :(

You are correct, of course. :)
Next.

I kinda think I've seen her before, but...I don't know where.
Maybe you could give a second clue?

One of the playable characters (an overweight adult, with hazel eyes) needs to use an inhaler at times (so he's always carrying it, in his pocket), because of his health condition.

That old lady has a photography of this P.C. (showing him when he was a small kid), stored in her bedside table.

That description has got me thinking of that game about investigating the origami killer... the name escapes me. By the team who did BEYOND: two souls. Oh... I don't remember this character, but the more I think about it the more I'm sure it's the game.

Does that help anybody?

Thanks a lot.

It sure did.
PS: the name of the game is "Heavy Rain"
