Hahaha...Sleeping Dogs was also my first guess, but I couldn't find a match in characters.

From the optics it also reminded me of the Left for dead games, but again - no match.
Watch_Dogs was another candidate (though rather unlikely).
Or Dead Island...

But all these have sequels.
