In game there's about 25 individual wads of cash wandering around who are indistinguishable from one another and none are ever referred to by name - if there is a name it came from the instruction booklet.

It's possible in the remake they gave one a cigar and a name, but the original image was from the n64.

I'm not going to relinquish my turn! :p

Well, I admit - I have no clue.
My best guess would be some kind of old Detective game (obviously), but none that I know.

Indeed, a very notorious detective game (there was two of it, actually), that made a spectacular use of the Amiga's sound abilities, but was also released on other platforms.


I honestly thought it would be immediately recognized. It was considered a classic.

Jérome Lange, the hero of France made adventure games "Le Manoir de Mortevielle" and "Maupiti Island".

Played those at the time.

Yes ! Hence the super subtle hint on the first picture's name (though it mostly works in french).

Seeking these pictures really made me want to replay it. I know so many of these computer voiced lines by heart. And I've never played Maupiti Island, actually (I discovered these days that its theme tune is really great).
