Apparently someone started using the downrep script on him in reverse mode.
Yeah, rep on GOG is fundamentally broken and nothing seems to be done there.

I personally think these kind of personal threads about certain (generic) forum posters are a bad form, but whatever.

zeogold: Long story short, he used to be basically the forum mascot for his irreverent sense of humor, although he's not really as big these days. Popular might be true, but "much beloved" might not be entirely accurate.
How do you rate popularity? I would presume it is related how much a person e.g. gets replies to his messages and threads, so are you suggesting the person in question is getting more (than the average) of replies?

I have no idea how "popular" I am in the forum, and frankly I don't care that much. Of course I have certain kind of image of many of the other posters, some I deem positively and some more negatively, but most are just meh to me. I'm here mainly for the games and some generic discussion, not so much to make virtual friends (or enemies) that I will never meet (or kick in the balls/ovaries) in real life anyway.

Eh, it's not so bad actually to meet fellow GOGers. I've met P1na for example for some beers a few years ago and he's a great guy irl too :).

Sure, if you guys ever pop in to southern Finland at any point of time, I might see you guys if I am not doing something more interesting at the time. (Then again I feel there are only a certain number of goggers I's be interested at all in seeing in real life anyway; tinyE _might_ be one of them, or at least it would be interesting to see the town where he lives).

If someone would arrange a GOG gathering near here, sure, I might pop in for a beer or two.
