Anyone interested in this game?

1) All Z's are actually the first letter of man's best friend.

2) All X's are actually the first letter of man's best friend's enemy number one.

3) The "DOUBLE Y" is actually a two digit number that results from cutting 96 in half

4) The S's (for secret agent) is actually the one digit number for Bond, James.

5) The V's (for Vendetta) are the digit representing a couple.

6) Order is important. The four groups instead of being ordered as they are (1-2-3-4) should be ordered (4-2-1-3).

EDIT: Order initially posted wrong (see... I told you it was important) and is now correct. (I hope).

That's a lot of games, have you played all of them?
If you don't have it already, buy Age of decadence.

I've played most of them. Age of Decadence is one of the 1199... THANKS THOUGH!

For those wondering....

I like RPG's the best. Strategies (not real time... you know... just strategies... like the Civ Series) next. Problem is... I think I've probably already got all of those two genres that are at GOG that appeal to me. Was just posting in case someone posted a title that I had somehow missed and I could sweep it up and hit page 13 in my account....

Speaking of which... PLEASE GOG... change that. Somehow. Someway. It really needs to be easier to navigate around my library. I dunno... maybe make 500 per page? Or have just one long sccccccroooooollllllinnnnnnngggg page?

I dunno... just know it's a PITA the way it is now.

A Funny way for a giveaway :)

Thanks

Maybe you can post a little more your list of games so people can know what not to recommend you for already having them.

I've found MCC to be a pretty solid number 1200, but your mileage may vary.
I have to wonder who's got the most around here....

And why do I think its Tauto.

I think it might be (key word: MIGHT) JMich. I'm not sure (memory unreliable) but I seem to recall him stating it was his goal to own the entire GOG library. (Again, might be misremembering that... or assigning that memory to the wrong person. If so, my apologies)

Congratulations. Hope you enjoy it.

Sometimes I do puzzles, sometimes I do contests, but often I just do this where I post "the code" but make changes and then explain them. The sole purpose is to keep the bots/scripts from claiming it and hopefully ensuring it's an actual human being.

You are an actual human being aren't you? (lol...j/k)

And I don't know about posting.... If there were a quick a dirty way to post all 1199 of them I would... but I don't know how. Plus, would the forum even allow a post with that much data? LOL, never tried it before.

Anyway yeah, I know that with me owning 1199 already the odds are about 95 out of 100 that any recommendations will already be owned. As I said above I've gotten all of the games I'm interested in that I've seen.... but every now and again I come across a game that's been here awhile (or even all along) and I somehow missed it. Guess I was just hoping a bunch of folks would post a suggestion and maybe out of 20 or so posts there might be 1 or 2 that I could look at. Was wanting to finish it up today and get to 1200 (don't know why... just was) but I guess I'll just wait until something else comes along that I am interested in.

Guess everyone can ignore this thread now. Game is claimed and I'll just wait to get to 1200. Thanks for everyone that responded. If you were interested in the free game but didn't get it you can post your wish here as I do have some more GOG codes.

Even though the thread was discontinued, I'll of course toss in the idea of Pajama Sam Vol. 1, though it might be preferable to wait for a sale since you're probably only getting 2 hours or less gameplay out of the two adventure titles (and the arcade titles aren't great). :P
What to recommend to the man that has everything...

Lately, I have been playing Gauntlet and I'm surprised about how much I'm enjoying it. Funnily, I also tried Diablo 3, and there's no comparison between these two, I'm having so much more fun with Gauntlet.

The game also has DLC, the Necromancer, and maybe I'm playing it wrong, but the character just feels underpowered, because it's basically a mage that has a very strict attack pattern. If the enemy is too close or too far you can't hit them.

There it is!!!! I swear I had no idea this game was on GOG, have not played it yet, and it does look like it's right up my alley. This is what I was talking about earlier in the thread about sometimes just not knowing of a game.

NUMBER 1200!!!!

THANK YOU MadalinStroe VERY MUCH!

Only thing I couldn't figure out was what was meant by "Slayer Edition" as I can't find any other edition or did I miss it? I don't get why they would give some edition a name if it was the only one. And I can't see that the "Slayer Edition" includes anything beyond the basic game.

Oh well... gonna get to 1200 now!

THANKS EVERYONE. LOL, probably going to be playing this right away. It "looks" sort of like a Divine Divinity hack 'n slash RPG, and I absolutely loved me some Divine Divinity. (Well, except for the beayatch at the very end which I still have NEVER beaten despite at least five complete play throughs).

EDIT: Added screenshot!!! 1200 GAMES!!

I'm glad that I could help, and I hope you like it, though reading your comment, I'm a little worried that I might have given you the wrong impression, when I mentioned Diablo.

Gauntlet isn't an Action RPG, such as Diablo and Divine Divinity. It's a pure action game, with some small modifiers to your character. There are no stats, and there are no item drops. You start the level and you go through it, killing monsters who drop gold, health orbs and "mana" orbs. At the end of the level you can spend the gold to unlock/upgrade various items that your character gets to use in future level, should you chose to equip them. The game works great with controller, but I loved the keyboard and mouse system.

I love the combat system, and the single-player campaign.

Well I got that idea (hack 'n slash like Divine Divinity) from other reviewers and watching the video too. Oh well, still giving it a go. Just finished downloading it. But it's 3:35 AM here so I need to try and get some sleep (if I can) and will install and give it a go tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you enjoy it. Try to play with the Elf who is a ranged character, or the Valkyrie who is a melee character. These are the easier characters to play. They don't make the game EASY, just easier. The Warrior is powerful but has difficulty staying alive, while the mage is the most powerful ranged character, but it requires ungodly amount of skill, maybe he's easier with a controller. I won't link a certain youtube clip that blew my mind when I saw what a skilled player might be able to do with a mage, because after seeing the clip I found the mage utterly intimidating.

About the Slayer Edition, I think this was added when the game was completely rebalance for the release on consoles.
