Win10 on laptop.
Win11 on desktop.
Android on phone.
Ubuntu in old laptop.

And I like to play around with older Windows OS and UNIX/Linux on virtualbox.

Windows 11. Just upgraded from Windows 10 about three weeks ago, and it has been pretty smooth. Via the use of ExplorerPatcher and ShutUp10, adjusting the GUI and privacy was a snap.

I use Windows because I want compatibility with lots of software, and honestly I dislike trying to troubleshoot. Linux seems likely to be a huge pain in the rear and not allow me to play obscure games, along with just being mysterious in general. The big downside with Windows is that consumer versions of Windows have weaker privacy, while Education and Enterprise can't be bought by individuals. If given the opportunity, go for Enterprise.

Game developer here - I got a lot of machines for various purposes and a game library that goes back decades.

Windows XP (on 2010 Mac Mini) - for old games
Windows 7 (on SFF PC with GTX 1060) - for not quite so old games
Windows 10 (on several machines, desktop & laptop)
MacOS 13 (Ventura) - M2 Pro Mac Mini
Windows 11 - hahahaha - don't want to touch it (but will probably have to soon)

Fedora on my desktop, Arch on my laptop, OpenBSD on my home server, Alpine on my VPSes, Fedora in a VM on Windows 10 on company laptop.

Mostly Ubuntu Linux: I might switch at some point to Mint, PopOS or Debian for the desktop, but I'm very busy and not in a hurry... for the server, I'm likely to stick with Ubuntu for the foreseeable future as they've served that portion of their user base well. Might officially add Debian support to my cloudinit vm templates at some point though... seems like it would be the right thing to do (just to support a 100% community-based, corporate-free option).

I also have a Windows 10 gaming box.
