Hello!

"Unworhthy" seem to be another candidate of not being so frequently on sale.

However I think that recently it appear to be less a problem of not being on sale at all or not in suficient frequency, but rather having significantly higher base prices and only marginal discounts for a lot of new (re)releases or even games that saw much deeper discounts earlier on.

Kind regards,
foxgog

Last sale was almost 1 year ago.

kbnrylaec: Its developer claimed that they will never put discount for their game.
But GOG once tag the price wrong so you can save $0.01 and get the game legally.
There comes a point when your game becomes so popular you can never discount it and people still buy it en masse at full price. Same reason Call of Duty never goes on sale on Steam.

Unless I missed it, I have never seen Ghost of a Tale. It's probably worth its $25 price though.

Looks as though you missed it: the https://isthereanydeal.com/game/ghostofatale/history/ log shows a GOG discount over Christmas/New Year.

Oh yeah, nice site!
I have never seen Undertale get a single cent off here on Gog.

The last sale was all the way back in Feb 2020, according to ITAD.

Thanks, I must have missed it back then. But even that is still ages ago.
Snapshot. According to isthereanydeal.com, last sale was in July 2019 - no luck with the current summer sale, either.
Still waiting for it and The Deadly Tower of Monsters.

PaterAlf: I think Blackwood Crossing hasn't been on sale for more than a year now.
And apparently it will never be again, until the end of times. Unfortunately you keep being right: yet another sale comes and BwC is kept full priced. At least it won't tempt me into lifting my embargo.

By now I'm not even sure I should pick it up if I had money set aside for it. I can't research right now (don't wanna raise yellow flags at work by opening even more sites dedicated to games) but I wouldn't be surprised if it is abandoned everywhere, updates and sales-wise.

Edit: at least it is not featured in the "second-class customer" spreadsheet or thread. Which doesn't mean it is not equally abandoned in all stores.

The Swapper is another such game. Last seen on sale almost 4 years ago, when it sold for a little more than 2 € at -80%.
I would gladly buy Bombshell for a fair price. And it is not as if the developer company and the publisher didn´t have games on sale right now. Ion Fury has a 60% discount.
