Do you know of any games which are similar?

So far I've thought of:

Fallout Tactics
Shadowrun Returns series
XCOM: Enemy Unknown

A tie between 1 and 2.

As for similar: Robin Hood, Desperados, and Crookz.

Also 'Soldiers of Anarchy', but GOG doesn't have that.

Hands down commando 1. I think nothing is similar, although the closest thing is probably Jagged Alliance series.

Gruntz is similar, but is much more puzzle based.

I quite enjoyed strike force, totally different to the others as a fps, more like cod 1 or 2.

Star Trek: Away Team- hands down the best Commandos-style game out there, including the Commandos games themselves (although Robin Hood is a close second). At least for a Star Trek fan. Great story, diverse missions, the fun of picking your away team from a robust roster of characterse with different skills, weapons and gadgets, meeting characters from the show, fighting Borg, Klingons, Romulans... it was a blast. It's a crime we never got a sequel.

Played Beyond the Call of Duty near endlessly as a kid. So I suppose that one. Tried playing 2 and 3 more recently, had a harder time getting into them. Unfortunately I have never really played anything else similar.

None of those games you've mentioned is anything like Commandos.
Desperados and Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood, those are similar.

Also I suppose the first one is my favorite, I don't think I've played the sequels.
