Marioface5: I hope GOG has something amazing planned for the near future, because so far this year has been abysmal for releases compared to 2015. Last year they had so much momentum, so many big releases and new big publishers, and right now there's just nothing. At the end of November, Judas teased an upcoming "flood of games". It still hasn't happened yet, and at this point I'm starting to feel like if it ever does happen it won't even be a big deal.
I've said this multiple times before, probably even to you, but I just find it strange that GOG still has trouble getting games from big publishers
already here. GOG has grown by leaps and bounds since Activision, EA, Square Enix, etc. have joined, so why can't we get more of their games here (assuming no legal or compatibility issues; various DOS titles should still be able to show up, like SimAnt). In every case did the publisher just decide it wasn't worth spending the lawyer money getting more games here? x-P
BUT in trying to be fair to GOG, I'll share some of the (imo) stand-out 2016 releases:
ANNO 1404
DARKEST DUNGEON
NOCTROPOLIS
STARBOUND (despite being in-dev, has quite a few wishlist votes)
PROJECT ZOMBOID (despite being in-dev, has quite a few wishlist votes)
LAYERS OF FEAR (hello Aspyr!)
RISEN 3
ERADICATOR (hopefully more Retroism games come)
UNDERTALE
I was surprised how well STARDEW VALLEY and SUPERHOT have been received and sold, too.
BUT more Bethesda please. :P
