Good Lord, look at all these Midweek Madness deals Steam is doing! Combined with the Weekend Deals, I don't know how my wallet will ever be safe. Not to mention the gargantuan backlog I'm building. Then again, maybe having a lot to burn through during college is a good thing...

Menelkir: I can't stop seeing this Gdfsgsdfhgsdfghsdgfh all over the place now, and is driving me nuts. It's like the Goatse of the new decade or something.

You have been infected. Kindly seek treatment over at that counter there, where a Dr Leung will see to you shortly.
If any symptoms persist, we are terribly sorry to inform you that the virus has reached the terminal stage. There is no cure for that anymore, as your sanity has been completely consumed by GOG.

DrIstvaan: Oh, it's not exactly about Hungarian oldies, but about old games (divided based on age), in Hungarian.
Arteveld: Yes, i've noticed from the screenshots.:P So my question remains.;) Well... the thing is, at least AFAIK, that Hungarian game developers weren't present on the international market in older times, and so even if there were some games developed, they were made in Hungarian.
A certain line of text adventures jump to mind, developed by István Rátkai, which were deviously difficult, yet enjoyed large-scale popularity. However, like I've said, they are in Hungarian.

My excuse for not buying AvP is that i know it'll be 75% off within a month. Which makes it $1.25 i reckon.... gotta be frugal.
(Plus I'm trying to finish indigo prophecy that i bought in the last Steam sale, but it's suddenly gone annoying)
PS/ I guess if they just sealed the Acivisiion deal a few days back, they won't have had enough time to do proper compatibility testing yet.

Yeah, but I really don't think they sealed the deal only last week or so. I have a strong feeling it was done at the end of last year... Or in early January at most.
I *suppose* the announcement occurred last week because by then did they have a reasonable amount of games ready to launch.

It WOULD be a bit of a tease to announce activision and then tell us we'll have to wait months whilst they test the games

Probably tomorrow they will release 2 activision games, at least i hope so. Hopefully it's something good like Swat 4 Gold or No one lives forever or something else.

Well, i think i can handle a dictionary. ;P I see a list of games dev'd in Hungary, but it requires filtering, because i see Battlestations: Midway/Pacific there, for example.
That list made me remember one awesome gem - Scarabaeus, a great FPP-puzzler, but that was on a C64. I see Reunion was also Hungarian.

But i seek hidden treasures. I bet there are some, every country has them. :)
