I bet it's Civilization (so, 2K Games indeed).

Wolfox: I bet it's Civilization (so, 2K Games indeed).
I hope it's original DOS Civilization 1, not that crappy thing that's on Civilization Chronicles.
If it's eventually going to be the Civ games I'll have three copies of Civ 3 since I have the disc version, bought a digital copy on GG a few weeks back and then would buy it here too if they put out the first 3. Not that I'm complaining or anything, Civ 3 is a great game. :P
The mention of stars makes me think something science fictiony. I would love for it to be Star Trek or Star Wars, but I think maybe Homeworld might be a a more reasonable answer. I would like Homeworld though, I've always wanted to play it.

I some how doubt it given 2K's current love for regional restrictions =S But it'd be nice to be proven wrong.
Certainly would love to see either 2K (for civ) or EA for (system shock 2,Ultima etc)

Any new publisher will be good news although bad for my credit card :).

Looking forward to thursday

Seeing as how DOS would probably be easier to get to work, I would assume that if that game is released it would be DOS.

Civilization Chronicles has a version of Civilization 1 that should work fina on modern OS, but it looks like sh*t
Darn, the typeface on this seems soo familiar... I don't know why, but it kinda reminds me of Origin: We Create Worlds logo,.

.....Your right, it does look a little like it.
Probably just a coincidence though.
The only game which honestly has a right to be labeled as the game that made you dream of stars is Elite, but so much ado about a game from 1984, a legendary and truly revolutionary game true, but nevertheless a game from 1984 doesn't make much sense.

Alpha Centauri makes more sense, especially when one considers that AFAIK it's currently not possible to get it digitally anywhere.

I hope it's the Crusader games (No Remorse - No Regret) or Wing Commander.

Both of them involve space.

Maybe Z. That would be great.

I would go for Wing Commander.
That does mean EA.
