My girl posts on a feminist forum with a strong vegan subforum and one girl was crying the other day because she just doesn't understand why the media don't treat every slaughtered pig or cow as an act of murder to share time on the nightly news with human murder.

Ignoring the fact that the majority of human murders go unreported by the media, how would she propose we go about it?

Police say this is the largest cow massacre since yesterday when 279 cows were killed in a similar fashion at Warburton's Farm, and suspect that the crimes may be linked and racially motivated by Cow-hate groups. I suggest the formation of a new 24 hour broadcast network called SINN: Special Interest News Network. Its just a screen full of scrolling marquee tickers that report critically important information thats only relevant to a miniscule percentage of the population.

"3077 Cows slaughtered to feed shameless human carnivore monsters!!!!!!!!!!!11one. Vegans who have the energy plan protest"
"Pointless information posted on twitter" (that one would naturally be on an endless loop)
"That hot blonde down the pub turned Bill down for a date resulting in allegations of lesbianism"
"Religion disrespected in Australia. Religious groups threaten war to determine the most offended party"
"Man loses place in Ubisoft game because of internet failure"

That sort of thing

Sounds good to me, though I doubt it would go into enough detail for some of them. I'm guessing they want a whole news report dedicated to each cow, looking into their life, their accomplishments, friends and family, that sort of thing. Might need to just ban all forms of reporting to avoid upsetting someone by leaving them out...

Wheres your respect for a good profit margin? We set up subnetworks for each major classification of nutjob and charge people a fee to shout their virtually irrelevant shite and offer a paid editing service to help them get it ready for transmission. They pay, we screen and virtually noone watches, its win-win.

Once we cover operating costs we'd be rolling in so much moeny it'd actually manage to bring shame to a televangelist
