Ricky_Bobby: Nice, I've been eyeing the game and this might be a good time to get it. It seems fun.
It is. Galaxy says 30 hours of fun so far. Easy controls, just three keys (ASD), great atmosphere. I love returning to it when I'm tired of all the epic quests and openworldness and need something simple to relax.

We had No Mans Sky last week; so this week will be nothing.

Like last week then, or in fact the week before. In fact, it seems to be a chain of dlc, indev updates, 3 disney games (in place of anything doom or ES related).
Conception 2: Children of the Seven Stars.

Come on GOG... be brave.

mmm not sure for today but I think GOG will pull out a Disney-like stunt before September. Maybe a combo like Heretic/Hexen....

Releases have been pretty meh overall, even though I picked up NMS... need something good this week.
It's indie Tuesday so don't expect any AAA or old release .

There was a National holiday in Poland yesterday ( and today ? )

YOU GOTTA BE SHITTIN' ME! :P

Candy Land doesn't have as many holidays as Poland.
It's Bounty Train, an in-dev game from Daedalic.

Hm, there's gonna be a lot of Daedalic in GOG's future, going by the Upcoming tab.

Only yesterday, no holiday today so everything should be normal. On the other hand yesterday we got a promo as well so...
So for today we got an In-Dev game and a procedurally generated something that is "coming soon." Meh...

Is it just me, or is there a clear "type" of game that GOG tends to seek out and release? I feel like adventure games, point-and-click, sims, and roguelikes constitute most of what we see here nowadays.

I think they're going for the 13 year old beta tester demographic. Very specific market.
