IAmSinistar: So when was the last Tuesday without a proper game release? I summon The Grargar!
16 June. Naturally, it was during the summer sale.
A bunch of release streams suddenly cancelled? Yep, smells like insomnia/fall sale to me.
Aren't sales planned well in advance, though? To get agreement from all the publishers to have their games discounted. Though I suppose the date may be flexible.
I need more releases, no sale.

The normal ones are a bit slow for me. No doubt I have been spoiled by Insomnia. I'm rooting for Luck of the Irish/Mutator type thing...

And the insomnia one is too fast for me .
I think it's too early for Insomnia, anyway. It will probably resemble something like GOG's 2014 birthday sale; about 20-30 different games discounted/day. Or maybe, they'll do something different.
Insomnia sales are a crap gimmick...
What about the big somnia sale? People who didn`t buy games for the longest time get the biggest discounts. For example:
One who didn`t buy for 30 days gets 30% off, one who didn`t buy for five days gets only 5% off.

I knew you knew.

My birthday, too. GOG was probably marking the occasion by obtaining the rights to Eye Of The Beholder.
I agree it's high time for an event sale but typically GOG seemed to start the sale before halting new releases so this still seems odd for there to just be a lull. If there are rules to this sort of thing (and maybe this just proves random-ness) I don't think even an upcoming sale justifies lack of new release.

Why would anyone want a sale in which you are the least likely to get the game you want rather than one in which you are almost guaranteed to get it?
I hate Insomnia sales and the worst thing is having the uncertainty when the next game will show up because a bad game is sitting there for already an hour.
