Well, were is it?

Early-Access Releases shouldn't replace regular releases of finished products, whether old classics or new indies.

Nice.

While not my genre, it's always a good day when there's a new release that isn't Early-Access :P

As the early access idiocy shows it's quite easy to make money this way. You are not forced to ever deliver a finished product and as long as you provide some updates, no matter how much real content and work is invested, you can cash it in for quite a while. So: first kickstarter, than early access, than publisher deal for non-vapor-ware ... that's the direction it's pointing right now. Working quite good and as you sold the game already there is no need to deliver a good product even, only good enough to not hurt your reputation in a public way. Gog magic will check every "in-dev" game like they "check" (haha!) every patch before branding it with their own installer ... that's why gog is a bit slow on game updates, right? The thorough checked patches and so on ... ;-)

That's why I stay the Hell away from Early-Access, no matter how good the game is "supposed" to become.
Way to easy to get screwed over as an honest costumer and ending up standing there like an idiot because there is no real protection against fraudulent use of the EA Scheme (sorry, but the 14 Days Refund sound more like what used to be called a Trial Version / Shareware than actual safety measure).

And while there have been successes, those are sadly the minority, and far from the norm. Which is why I wouln't even consider buying before the real release, along with some favourable reviews from trustworthy ressources...

Correct.

... and please give us a filter, so that we can remove this crap from our shop site view forever. Or place a big red banner over the picture. "unfinished beta".

Indeed. I second this.
Wondering if today will be a good day for a new Finished Game?

Signs seem to indicate that Pony Island might "soon" arrive arrive here... maybe today?

No real idea myself, just saw it mentioned by judas and on the coming soon list.

Also though at first it was either a satire or even a fangame made by the brony community... but apparently it's some rather confusing indie game about a "game inside a game" with a unicorn (from the short LP I've seen).

Still not completely sure what it's supposed to be, but don't feel compelled to find out either so far :P

Different from what I expected too. Seems kinda short (unless the guys speedrunning).

Well, doesn't seem like my kind of game, but as said: "Better a Finished Game than a Charged-for-Beta" :P

Same here.

While I don't mind indies, I'm just not interested in Puzzle-Platformers (or Art Projects pretending to be Games).
