I'm just going to keep saying Rollercoaster Tycoon in every topic about new games until it happens. That worked for me and EA (they eventually gave me two 25% off coupons), and that will work for GOG. Or maybe I'll write a polite e-mail every day. It worked for Tim Robbins in the Shawshank Redemption!
I'm also for RollerCoaster Tycoon :)

DrIstvaan: No, before this summer, it was usual to have one game on Tuesday and one on Thursday.
(And in the begginning, Tuesday was release-day, with two games per Tuesday.)

cogadh: No, it was occasionally like that, but the not-so-hard-and-fast rule has always been new releases on Tuesday, news and coming soon announcements on Thursdays and sales on Fridays. When they have something special or a surprise release, it might happen on a Thursday, but that has still never been a regular release day.
In theory it might have been so, but I clearly recall quite a number of games were released on Thursdays, official or not.
So far the Hasbro games have been released in the order that they originally were, so that would make the next game Icewind Dale, followed by Baldurs Gate 2, Temple of the Elemental Evil, Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights, etc. Right?

It just so happens that I would like backup copies of all those games. ^___^
Dear GOG,

If you release a game today, I promise to buy it regardless of what it is... :-p

Call me a sucker.... :-)
A weekend promo would be nice (GOG team please feel free to select titles I have on my wish list).

;)
LOL you guys. You guys.

I think they may be gearing up for a sale tomorrow, that seems to be their pattern. A new release, then a sale.

I neeeeeeeed iiiiiiiittt!
Depending on the catalogue options for after it, they should probably milk the Hasbro thing for as long as possible, which means 1 a week.

They should release the rest of the Age of Wonders series though.
What, the 350+ hours of gameplay in Baldur's Gate (plus expansion!) and Planescape Torment isn't enough for you? :P
The infinity engine games are still very much compatible with even Win7 64. I see no major hold ups in getting out 2 games a week, personally.
I wondered what bastage would've created this thread since the new site was up. ;)

I passed on the two new games so far, since my RPG NEED is filled for now. I'll throw in my vote or Rolercoaster tycoon as well. Though EA ain't here *sigh*.

Yeah, thursday was a traditional release day for a year or so. Doesn't get any more "official" than that, really. At any rate, what they've always done, before this summer at least, is to release two games per week. Sometimes even three. They need to start doing that again, because one game per week/four games a month is not enough.

Kind of boring for people who aren't into RPGs, though...

Edit: I should say, though, that I can understand that they're letting Planescape: Torment have the spotlight for a while longer than "usual". It'll be a while before they get anything this big again. It's the obvious highlight of the Hasbro-catalog too, with the exception of BG2, the rest of the forthcoming releases are just your "average" good old games - meaning good, but nothing special.

Gentlemen! Gentlemen!
The old Magic: the Gathering Game by Microprose (later merged into infogrames and then Atari/Hasbro) is hard to get to work on newer systems. Give them time! I'll gladly wait if it means I get my baby back... ^-^

haha!! You would think this, but for me, it is not about playing the games immediately. It might seem crazy, but for me it is more about being able to get rid of my physical CD's and manuals and maps, etc. (I know this is blasphemy to some) I own almost all of these games, and this is a great way for me to make some space on my bookshelf/closet. :-)
