I can understand that, a lot of american's do at the very least try to put up that front. A lot live off the government or have large amount of debt (or both). I would also like to say the better way to live is to be content with what you got not what you make or what you could have. Life isn't always easy but that doesn't mean you can't be happy along the way :)

I couldn't agree more :)

vicklemos: Indeed. That's why I'm somehow of a supporter when it comes to regional pricing
avatar
0Grapher: I agree with you there.

Unfortunately, regional pricing isn't perfect either because rich people from poor regions get lower prices and poor people from rich regions get high prices.
In my opinion, it would be ideal if we had an efficient pay-what-you-want/-can system that is not easily exploitable because even for a rich person who only wants to play one game for a short amount of time a lower price would be justified.
True. I seriously can't think of something that values more the person than the product...

IAmSinistar: $30 buys 300 packets of Top Ramen here. That's enough to sustain you for a month, which appropriately is about how long it would take an all-ramen diet to kill you.
What!!! 10 cents per packet!

Compare the price to normal food, I think there will be quite a number of people with ramen induce health problems
lol "where the hell is...?" should get its own special subforum :D
when I'm not cooking ramen, I cook pasta with olive oil. Must find a happy equilibrium to eat lots of ramen.

oh right, waiting for the next sale!

Yah, that's for the brick of dry ramen that looks like a scouring pad, plus the mylar packet of flavour dust. The local grocery has them for 10/$1.

Fortunately they also sell much nicer instant ramen bowls, including some with moist noodles in a sealed packet. But the prices rapidly go up on those, to $3-$5 each.
What the hell is a ramen?

More importantly what does it have to do with the lack of a big sale...

Easy - living off ramen enables one to optimise money saved, which then goes towards the next sale. :)

Its a japanese premade noodle soup. In europe more or less known as cup noodles.
