I wonder why they hold the games back that long. Some of them are easy to run in DOSBox and there is no (logical) reason to wait with releasing at least one or two by now...

GOG wants us to forget about them and start to buy indie games instead.
Maybe we should start a riot outside Disney HQ..........
And to be equally pedantic as my former post, the latest releases are available to buy from GOG right now -- since the other LucasArts titles aren't releases yet! :-P (Sorry!)

EDIT: Well, maybe I should have said "haven't been released by GOG yet", since obviously they've been released by LucasArts :-)

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me that we're getting two a month until we run out, and the reason we haven't gotten any since the first batch were because we already GOT our two from November and December in that first batch.
Further speculation: Maybe the multiplayer-capable releases are being held until they officially launch GOG Galaxy.
Damn it all, i am ready to purchase Monkey Island 2 special edition and complete my collection! I need only one game to hit a number of games owned that ends in a zero! Come on, christmas sales, don't dissapoint me!

I completely agree ... my OCDness is troubled by the fact that my game collection remains incomplete. The only games I need to complete my collection are Maniac Mansion, DOTT and the rest of the Monkey Island Series.

All these pre-releases are starting to depress me ...

DreamedArtist: My guess is they did not get enough games or don't have enough done for the rest of the year and saving it for next year as a big bang, who knows.

All I know is HOLIDAY SALES <3 if it does come hehe :3
I think a couple of games ready, but 1-2 weeks needed after huge sale.

By mid of December, when we all have our money for digital Christmas gifts

Well, by mid December we'll be in the throes of the Winter Sale (and will stay there until the end of the year) and historically GOG doesn't release "classic" games during big sales, only day 1 indies...

Unless they're apologizing for something, like the Zombie Shooter controversy from last year. I think they released Theme Park the day the sale started, or the day before, I'm not sure.
Maybe something went wrong with the planned releases. They knew all about the coming sales, but they still said we should expect to see Lucasfilm games frequently, and "frequently" doesn't normally mean less than once a month. (At least not within the time frame of "the coming months". If they wrote "in the coming years" then one release every two months would be enough to call it "frequently")

Classic Gem Promo on December 9th, Theme Park released December 9th, Shadowrun Returns released December 10th, Indie Gem Promo on December 11th, Winter Sale on December 12th, Teslagrad released on December 13th.

Theme Park was released December 9th. The 2013 Winter Sale began December 12th.

Edit: Should have known I'd be ninja'd by JMich on a topic like that...

Yeah, I was wondering why we still haven't seen the rest of the LucasArts games. I keep hoping we'll see something for the upcoming Winter Sale.
