The information I'm looking at says that this update dropped today, perhaps even only a few hours ago.

EDIT: Also, the content in the 1.5 update does look really cool. Probably not going to drop £40 on the game, but that kind of base building system really appeals to me.

To be fair - The NEXT 1.5 Update to NMS is VERY huge and probably the biggest deal for the NMS community since release. There were like 40k-60k Members online at the same time in the unofficial Discord to hype and celebrate the Update.

News got around that a few XBox One Copies got in the wild early (with 1.5 NMS has had its premiere on XBox). A few days later and after a few leaks, news got round that PSN went down for a brief time and all of a sudden the Patch was live. Shortly after, Steam got ready.

So, to recap - XBox One, then PS4, then Steam. But GOG still doesnt show any update at all, and I am a 1st day customer as well.

Backstory also is: With Patch 1.3 a first iteration of Multiplayer was introduced, showing moving orbs as a "placeholder" where other players are. GOG version was left out since GOG Galaxy doesnt support VOIP/Close Proximity VOIP.

NOW, NEXT is out, GOG gets left behind. All others play for a few hours already, but those who bought early on GOG get dumped. Probably wont even be able to play online since the Steam Version relies on the friends list to join games with friends and it definately looks like GOG users wont get a chance to play with friends who bought on Steam. I got no friends on GOG, all are on Steam. And now I start to REALLY regret I bought here.

There isnt even ANY FORM of communication from GOG.com or Steam or Hello Games in regards of this. There already have been several tweets to the developer, GOG and Steam.

if you look it say PC, but you go to there site it say only on steam. but i get all my games on GOG so here hoping to a update soon

From what i have gathered Hello Games has not yet uploaded NEXT to GOG's server for dispersion to Galaxy users or standalone creation.

8 hours after NEXT update and GOG is very late. Should we go to Steam?

I will get NMS NEXT tomorrow on Steam for the discount. This is just wrong. I am actually quite mad now and usually I am a pretty calm person. But this is just not cool.
No word on availability. No word on multiplayer compatibility. No word on possible solutions.

Sorry GOG, but that would be the final day today to make business with you.
(except for maybe CyberPunk 2077... but only MAYBE. This is really pissing me off big time)

lol, if you you at me you only see 3 games too, but only what i have that is online, i have over 20 more games from them you cant tell by only looking at the profile

Even IF I only had 2 games, others do notice as well.

I hope there will be somekind of update tomorrow on this matter. But currently all GOG NMS players feel cheated on.

Acutally it's only been out on Steam for like 2 - 3 hours, at the time of this post. Nothing GOG can do about it if Hello Games hasn't uploaded the new build to the Dev Portal.

Yeah, does suck. GOG is pretty damned big..Why don't they have the update..

And they still have not responded to my email 6hrs ago.

Anyways... on Youtube it looks AWESOME... so I guess it's worth the wait... just wish there wasn't one.
