A UI which can properly stretch to cover wide resolutions (as per the above screenshots) is nice, but to be honest I hope they won't change much, if any, of the backend stuff, otherwise our benevolent UI-enhancing script overlords will have some work cut out for them.

That'd be really nasty, autoplaying stuff. Also oddly flat "collections" there on the right, looks like that <bleep> that's the Metro interface. And definitely not keen on the news being there at the bottom, just 3 on screen, just title and a big picture, no other text at all, and scrolling sideways. Rest of it, meh, can take it or leave it, assuming of course I won't be forced to leave it because they don't like my choice of browser, as it's been with sales for quite some time now, and more recently chat too.

i kinda thought that too, haha. definitely a bit of a windows 8 vibe (not to be negatory or anything).
