trynoval: Another interesting thing. When you start criticizing, eager defenders appear.
Trying to make problem funny and unimportant.

Hickory: It's very hard to take you seriously. About 25% of what you say makes no sense; 75% sounds like sour grapes.
Sure, if YOU say so.
Btw, what do you think about no review editing and sorting?
inb4 it's unimportant, reviews doesn't matter.

I just want to know why someone is in here complaining about it. Yes I know it's the same company but I can't for the life of me figure out what the OP hopes to accomplish, even of they have a legit beef, which I'm totally whiling to accept they do.

I think the issue people have is you haven't really outlined the situation other than to say you were banned and the moderators 'make their own rules'. Unfortunately that's pretty much exactly what trolls and other people that actually deserve/earn bans usually say. So there's no context to your complaint.

Having said that, for what it's worth, I joined the Witcher forums when the first game was released and hung out there for quite some time. The moderating there was okay at first, but gradualy became more and more suspect IMO and when I received a very condescending and rude reply by a moderator to a post I made, I called that moderator out on it. Receiving a flippant and rude reply to that, I decided I was finished with the Witcher (now CDPR) forums (note: I was not banned, I just decided not to post there any longer). As far as I'm concerned, you're not missing out on much.

See what I mean? You talk nonsense.

Well from the little info that's to be gleaned, I'm reading it -- and I may well be wrong -- that the person has hurt pride and wants to lash out. <shrug>

I would second TinyE, he does indeed do that everywhere.

Please feel assured, your problem totally is unimportant. I mean, on a scale of 1 to10, it's a 2, somewhere between not having the correct brand of beans to go in tandem with the stew you're cooking, towards "trapped dental floss" (depending on where it is trapped, and the current mechanical events acting on that said floss - floss is boss).

Well I, along with a few others, would like to see why. XD

Yep, that's how I feel about witcher forum. It become unhealthy. Moderators go out of control, oppressing peoples. So they scare to discuss.
Not that I lost too much from this. But it's objectively bad thing.

I want to report this situation, so I asked where I can do that. I wrote my question here, because I'm banned on witcher forums.
That's all I want.

Now thread is derailed, and we discuss other things.

My first thought after seeing the thread title was "Whaaaaat, a GOG-moderator abused his power?"
Second thought: "Waaait, something in this thought was wroong, hmmmm..."
I am disgusted that nobody suggested Operation Yewtree!

trynoval: This moderator invent own rules without reason. He forbid discussion and critics once it starts.
He just sit in this thread and commands others what they can and what they can't say. Shaping discussion to his own manner.

In my country that is called janitor syndrome. E.g. clinic form of janitor professional illness.

That is unhealthy and horribly disrespectful in relation to peoples who write on forums.
I was unhappily surprised by such treatment.

If CDPR counts such overmoderation as normal. Saying that forums are their private territory. I'm afraid they are actually not so good peoples.
Excuse me for being blunt about this - I have no beef with you personally.

But as far as what I quoted goes - so.the.fck.what.

Really - if a forum doesn't run to your standards - go start one of your own. See how far you can take it.

Think about it - EVERY SINGLE FUDGING FORUM EVERYWHERE is going to have a set of folks that disagree with how it is run. You find things to disagree with at that particular forum. So.the.fck.what. Go post someplace else where your 'style' of posting is accepted.

It's really just that simple.

Coming to some other form to 'make you case' really doesn't do anything - since, by definition, you 'case' is going to be heavily biased by you. How the fck are we supposed to just jump aboard your personal fan-train just because 'you say so'?

Think about it...

It's nothing personal. I'm not flaming you. Or trolling you. Just pointing out what to me is an obvious truth.

There is big difference between some haters/trolls around and situation where only one meaning allowed.
When truth and freedom oppressed for interests or enjoyment of small group.
"truth and freedom"?

Okay, I can't top that! :P

Goodnight folks, drive home safe, and if you haven't, please call your mother. :D

Sounds like you well-feed. Nice to be you.
that made no sense XD

I'm going to bed.
I suppose I'm a bit biased since I post in the less heavily moderated areas of that forum and knew several of the mods when they were just regular users, but it's easy to point fingers while forgetting all of the stuff they have to constantly wade through. There aren't very many of them (and even fewer active ones), and the forum's been slammed by new users and their dumb questions/petty bickering since the third Witcher's release. Maybe OP didn't do anything terribly wrong, but the mods often try to shut down trouble before it happens, which means sometimes steering conversations with a heavier hand than some are comfortable with and banning anyone who ignores their red-text ultimatums.

Complaining about it to the higher-ups is pointless, though, since they're the ones who came up with the weirdly restrictive forum rules in the first place. The mods just enforce them.

When was that? If it was before the second game released, there's a good chance whoever it was isn't even there anymore.
