I have looked through some pages of the forum and did a search for the trading thread but the last post was in August.

I won a steam key for Lichdom Battlemage and am looking to trade it for, of course, a point and click adventure like Kathy Rain.

Like he said, the trade thread. But, you will have some difficulty trading Lichdom, since it has been free in the past.

The last post in it was most certainly not in August, though.

It's been free at a lot of points, on top of being bundled from here to Hades. A look at the reviews page will quickly cue you in as to why.

I doubt anyones going to trade with Lichdom with it's bad reviews. Trading just 1 key is hard enough as it is, I had 2 highly rated games in Wolf Among Us and Back to the future keys and I didn't get 1 decent trade offer, gave up after a while, it's not worth the effort.

Kathy Rain is cheap as chips on g2a though

You can try barter.vg and lestrades for trading Steam keys.

Did you try to trade those here? A lot of people own both of those. It's kind of a problem when you got a small pool of people to work with.

The game was free once, was sold for 92cent on bundlestars and 3,7€ on steam and 4,70€ on gog.
So ya people are kinda right telling you that trading it for a game which lowest price was 6,99€ and which to my knowledge never was given away for free might be a bit difficult ^^ (not even taken into account each game's "quality")

Kathy Rain was already in a Humble Bundle (maybe even in the $1 tier IIRC) so there should be enough keys floating around for trading. ;)

Thanks for this I appreciate it.

All these responses is the reason I never trade. I won the game and know I will never play it. Checked on steam and thought I could get something for it at the price of over forty bucks.

Pardon my ignorance but what is g2a?

g2a is a shady 3rd party key reseller. Keys there are for the majority (if not all) bought with stolen credit cards. Keys get revoked after a period of time in 99% of the cases. Look at keyradar.com for legit resellers (or ones that are more reputable).
