Cause there is no download link there, it just talks about the upcoming 2.0.

That link just goes to the same link I provided in my OP, which doesn't have a download link at all for GoG Galaxy.
Looks like GoG messed up and forgot to put the GoG Galaxy download link on that page when they changed it for the upcoming version. Thank you

Your right, hmmm looks like they are redirecting it now.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but when I went to that link that only has a signup for the beta but not the download the page kept flashing on and off every few seconds. Scared me at first that my graphics card was dying but it only happened on that one page.

It should be in all of your installers from games in your library.
It's Sept. 2022, having to uninstall Gog Galaxy from 'programs' folder to the direct root of C;\ as I try to get ToEE to run on my daughters laptop. One would think GoG would make their own Application a little easier to find. Good lord, what foolishness!! You'd think GOG-Galaxy, if not detected, would be front and center when you go to their page.
Front & Center!

Not only is there a download button in the bottom right corner of nearly every page -- like this one -- but every single game download in the library defaults to installing GOG Galaxy.

"Get a grip".

It's... virtually everywhere. It's harder to get a download that doesn't include Galaxy than it is to find one that does.

p.s. You don't need to reinstall Galaxy outside of Program Files to install games outside of Program Files. It doesn't matter where Galaxy is, you just need to tell it to install games into C:\Games or something.

Unless in uBlock you give it a rule to make that crap go away....

Right, but that requires a conscious decision to do that. It is to be assumed that someone who is looking for a Galaxy download wouldn't have done that, or would switch it off when they decide they want Galaxy.
