Well, there are at least 10 older space sims, with Freespace mods alone making it more like 2x that many. And old RPGs? This place is lousy with them, enough to tide one over for at least a couple years.

I get it - some of the favorites aren't here. But there are a whole mess of others to scratch the space sim and RPG itch.
Well that was fun:

OP: "Where are all the old games?"

Community: "Erm - here, here and oh, here."

OP: *Hurried footsteps followed by a door slamming.*

it's not like anyone was rude, but seriously GOG tend to do a pretty good job with classic games. I'm not saying everything I want gets released, but GOG has done me proud over the years.

tinyE: the OP left
Again? Damn. Have you noticed how these writers seem to disappear JUST before I enter the scene?

Makes one wonder, doesn't it? Who knows, maybe I'm writing all those messages subconsciously, and then switch to my alter ego. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Tom & Jerry, Me, Myself & Irene... you name it.

randomuser.833: Mechcommander Series is free for download too somehow.
Don't know if grey (vapoware) of white.
Should (?) be white. They were given away legally maybe 3 years ago, but not sure if they're still available.

timppu: Where have all the good games gone
And where are all the GOGs?
Where's our Enigmatic T
To build GOG's catalogue?

Breja: Well, it's been a while since the last "Y NO OLD GAEMZ?" thread. At least a week, unless I missed something.
yes, i started worrying myself... God forbid if we start being satisfied with Old releases...
Ok but where are all the shooters.

All I see is point and click adventures, RTS, rpgs, platformers and weird indie krap nobody wants to play.
There's one right here.
here you go mate, have fun!
As requested.

toupz111: I don't see any good old games anymore,
Have patience. If you wait long enough, every game eventually becomes old.
Well, at least some things don't change here.

Guess I'm nobody then
Licences are expensive and contracts are a nightmare. Be glad that we even have this many classics.

But hey, if you want to help GOG by buying the rights to Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom / Salad no Kuni no Tomato-hime (サラダの国のトマト姫) from the remains of Konami and giving the rights to GOG, then by all means.
