I don't see any good old games anymore, all i see are new titles or shooters, i mean shooters can be fun for some time but where are all the good old space sims and rpgs? I wished games like Space Rogue 1989 (Which can be played by using DOS) had some support and came to Gog, or old games like escape velocity nova if it was possible. I know i will get the dark sun series of dnd rpgs soon but i'm just curious, where's all the good old games? I got classics like planescape torment and games like that are rare!
You missed the giant display across the top of the front page, announcing the long-awaited release of the Homeworld games?

Look at the latest release news:
Homeworld 1+2 classic
D - The Game
Cesaer IV

There are a fair few old games released, not as many as maybe we want but it is difficult to aquire the rights to sell games. New games are easier, and bring in the customers, so you will see a fair amount of those as well. The releases are coming thick and fast however, quicker than they have over the years.

If you want specific games there is the wishlist, vote on there.

Idunno, considering he said all he sees is new titles or shooters with Homeworld plastered on the front page.

Only in Canada :oO
Here is just one teeny tiny screen shot. There are dozens of pages like this.

Man, what a butthead! :P

Well, it's been a while since the last "Y NO OLD GAEMZ?" thread. At least a week, unless I missed something.

I know, they usually do come once a week, but the timing of this one was especially funny. The next time a hugely demanded classic game is released we should start a bet to see how long before this topic is created again.
Where have all the good games gone
And where are all the GOGs?

Elmofongo: I think he is referring to these games:

Mechwarrior series

Marathon series

FATE games
Marathon series can be downloaded directly from the Bungie webside for free. And because it is released free there is no need for GoG
Not only freeware but even open source
https://alephone.lhowon.org/

Edit:
Mechwarrior never mind. Seems like MTX with a free copy of Mechtwarrior 4 Mercs has died.
Mechcommander Series should be Vapoware, possible white.
Mechwarrior 4 could be Vapo too.

Fate games run still over the webside of the devs with their launcher and some strange coin mechanics to play them.Don't see any release anytime soon here.

And you forgot all the Star Trek stuff from Activision. But sadly I think Activision and CBS where not leaving each other in peace when Bridge Commander was released.
