So YOU'RE the person who shows up on my screen whenever I launch Galaxy. I was beginning to wonder about that.

Windows 10 settings -> Privacy -> Camera

If the "Let apps use my camera" setting is set to "On" try setting it to "Off" and see if that changes anything.

Disclaimer: I haven't encountered this issue. I'm just making a random guess here.

Assuming you've downloaded Galaxy from GOG itself and not a different site, I'd suggest opening a ticket on http://mantis.gog.com/

Pre-post edit: It had already been reported here. Seems like the culprit was GeForce Experience, though it occurred when running a game, not Galaxy.

thats strange. it never happened to me :( looks like the staff is not interested in seeing me play games while naked

Oh, they are. They've just figured out how to activate the webcam while still keeping the status LED off.

no, sorry, that's me. it just something Galaxy does when I am watching you, it is not supposed to show my video feed. I have submitted a bug report, it really interfere with my stalking.

While I've never noticed with any games besides those in GOG Galaxy, I do run the GeForce Experience, so I'll have to check that out... And thanks for pointing that website out. Apparently I suck at finding things on the internet :/ lol
