gog2002x: As others have pointed out, the weekend sale that usually ends on a Monday morning is currently ending on Wed. 16, 2020 instead.

So it seems very likely that the "Winter Sale" may be starting on Thurs. 17, 2020.
That doesn't make it likely that the Winter sale will start on Thursday.

Rather, it will probably start on Wednesday, immediately after the Weekend sale ends.

I'm not anti-Christian.

I call it the "Winter Sale" solely because that's what GOG calls it. If I were instead to call it "The Christmas sale," then no one would know what I was talking about, and they would think either that it doesn't exist, or if it does, then it's a new sale that is different to and apart from the sale that GOG calls a "Winter Sale."

I'd absolutely support GOG renaming "The Winter Sale" to the "The Christmas Sale." Although they'd probably never do that in reality, unfortunately.

well what else would it be? a sale just before and possibly through Christmas?
winter sale ... winter spans into February
yes they should rename it to what it is actually, even if some people wouldn't like it
i would have no problem with similar sales for other religions like hanuka well that is maybe too close to christmas but still doable
Been wondering when that sale was going to start. Usually before Steam's one to maximise sales. They shouldnt stop it just because of issues with the new game (GOG isnt cyberpunk even though the devs own the store)

steam sales are so bad compared to other sites, if it wouldn't be the first mayor store nearly nobody would buy there

Steam sales seem pretty damn good to me, especially in Canadian dollars. Maybe it's different for some other currencies.

You're right, I forgot that CST is 6 or 7 hours ahead of Poland time. Had the time mixed up lol.

Maybe I'll make a time chart if I get the time. That sounded strange...

most of them are anti-christians, that's why
I wouldn't be surprised if they're holding off on the Winter Sale because of CP2077, but I don't know the documented/usual start date either. Maybe there won't be another major sale until early-ish 2021. If GOG don't end up having to refund a majority of the CP2077 copies purchased here, financially it might not even matter.
