They also tend to channel this heavily, which is usually what people mean when they use it as a slur.

tfishell: These things, they take time. GOG knows people want them (ie, they can make $$$ here), especially Oblivion, but I'm guessing Bethesda doesn't have GOG high up on their priority list especially with the new DOOM releasing. Same with most of the "big name" publishers.

Torchlight II is a case I don't really get either, but there's probably some behind-the-scenes issues.

SCPM: In Torchlight 2's case, Runic seemed to have a timed-exclusivity deal in exchange for Humble's help in porting the game to Mac / Linux.
And the deals take time, but I think this year is going to be pretty good for GOG. I happen to know Activision's going to be releasing some more titles here in the future, including Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. I would provide the proof, but GOG has been obnoxiously good at plugging holes in the site as I find them, so I don't want to kill the golden goose this time.
That would be so so SO FU***NG AWESOME !

I would also love to see Throne of darkness on here.

tfishell: Huh, well, imo it's still surprising it still hasn't shown up by now, unless EA/Origin got another timed exclusive deal for their Access release of it. Hopefully GOG can still get a decent number of purchases after all this time.

I *want* to believe Black & White would show up here, but "Expanded Edition" sounded a little fishy unless it is equivalent to "Black and White Deluxe".

I'd guess that "hipsters" in this context means the "GOG can do no wrong" crowd. Perhaps "fanboys" would have been the better word.

Dude seems to be a loyal GOGer (member since 2009), and he's not being excessively rude or obnoxious (just seems a bit frustrated to me), so how about some of you guys cut him a bit of slack?

To some extent, I feel the same as he does, tho GOG has released just enough good stuff lately to keep me satisfied. I'd certainly like to see more of the big-name stuff make it here. Let's hope SCPM is right about Bloodlines and some other goodies from Activision coming soon.

As part of the now famous "GOG's Develop Forum", I was able to get a glimpse at the list of upcoming games and I can assure you that on at least two very near dates we will be getting games that we really and actually want very much indeed. The dates are March 3, 2016 and March 29, 2016. I'm sure we won't be disappointed, speaking for ourselves.
