I wasn't aware that GOG produced the Dune games.

We need someone in here that knows more about the current licensing of that franchise. Last I heard it was in limbo.

Listen, it doesn't work like that. These things are not easy, much less licensed material.

Dune is owned by multiple parties, some of which just plain are not interested in renewing the license for the games to sell on GOG, or Steam, or anywhere. Sorry, but unless everyone involved can play nice, GOG can't sell any Dune games.
The Dune games are currently "locked" because:

1) EA are not interested in re-publishing these games and ask to re-license them (as far as I know, you can always ask EA)

2) The Frank Herbert property has not been interested recently in licensing Dune to anyone third party (until now that is, since they're doing a reboot of the Dune movie).

What I can see is Dune licensing a company to make a new Dune game along with the reboot movie, nothing else sadly.

You are however free to ask Brian Herbert on twitter about it.

Particularly a licence as valuable as the Dune franchise is. Frankly, It would cost GOG big bucks to get the franchise, probably much more then they could expect to make from rereleasing the games.

Are you quite sure Dune games sold well enough to warrant that?
When you can lobby the imbeciles who crafted the US Copyright and Trademark system to be less of a mess, that's when.

I believe Dudalb is talking about the Dune franchise in it's whole, not only the games.

what?
Last I heard Night Dive had reached out to Herbert Properties LLC, and Brian Herbert or Byron Merritt had no interest.
I hope we didn't scare away the OP.
