Cadaver747: GOG Galaxy is amazing at installing games purchased from GOG store. My version is long outdated and it can't be helped under Windows 7. Everytime I install a game it's like magic to me.
Everything else is meh. And my greatest regret was checking the integration with other store fronts. I have no idea what was done but since then GOG Galaxy *thinks* that I own some games which I don't on any other game digital store.
For example Detroit: Become Human game - the only instance I've ever run that game was one time on PS4 under my account from a friend's console who bought it for himself not me. And I've never sync anything to PSN except my old Xperia Sony phone 15 years ago.
[EDIT] - actually I forgot that I also linked Capcom Shadaloo to PSN but it doesn't change anything regarding the Detroit: Become Human game showing as "Owned" with Source = "Other".
Don't sync / intergrate for your own health!
If you don't want to use the integrations at all. Delete or rename your storage folder in programdata and restart Galaxy. Galaxy will reimport your GOG games only and you will get rid of every game from other stores in Galaxy.
neumi5694: If you can't see your achievements you're doing something wrong.
Yes and no. Sometimes devs set their achievements accidentally to devmode. In that case they are in fact invisible and you won't be able to see them in Galaxy as well. When it comes to unlocking them you will only see this in game if the game also supports overlay - which is not the case for every game. So in the end it is true that is is possible that you won't be able to see achievements in Galaxy - but it depoends on the game.
