I use SteelSeries Rival 700 and its good but I'm not fully satisfied so I'm thinking about an upgrade. I'm checking alternatives here
I love my Death Adder

I loved my Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex, until the buttons started flaking out. I recently got a warranty replacement, which is a Logitech Pro. It's basically the same mouse, but the scroll wheel is better and it only has one lighting zone instead of two. In combination with my aluminium mouse pad, I've never had better precision on a mouse.
The one in ghost of a tale was quite good.
Can't remember the name unfortunately but it was a logitech and you could put these tiny weights into a little compartment to give it a comfortable weight. It worked wonderfully until the cable gave in from bending too sharply in transit one too many times. I'll definitely go for a cordless next time.
See attachement.
It also is nice and warm for good blood flow.

As it happens, I just bought two new USB mice yesterday from the supermarket, while I was buying groceries. One for myself, one as a present.

Logitech M90 (price 9.90€)

Trust optical mouse (price 6.90€)

I haven't tried them yet, but damn I bet they are great! They are both black and plastic, and they have a scroll wheel too! Wow!
I'm by no means an expert in computer mice, but I'm very pleased with my Roccat Kone XTD. It fits my hand perfectly, has a pleasantly smooth surface finish, the wheel seems quite sturdy with nary a squeak to be heard. I don't use all of its bells and whistles, but it says on the box that the extra buttons are highly programmable.
Gaming? I've been perfectly happy with this crappy little thing for years, and one just like it before that. Yeah, I'm not much for fancy gaming gear.

Logitech G500, had it for many years and works like a dream. Nicely balanced with just the right number of side buttons and they are all well placed.
The legendary Logitech MX518. Working like a charm since the first day, still thinking it's too good to be true.
A gaming mouse needs to fit your hand well and have a clicky scroll wheel. A button to change sensitivity on the fly is useful too.

I use an old Logitech MX518 and it is alright but the tracking on my mum's Microsoft mouse (no idea what model) is clearly better but it comes with a soft scroll wheel = not good.

This is what I've been using for years. I bought two way back when and still using them. Comfortable as hell and still going strong.
Logitech G9 Laser. Still on my main PC.
Logitech MX518 but sadly it died (and its no longer made) so I replaced it with a Logitech G502 (more 'bells and whistles', but still not as good as the MX)
