I used to play this game back in the 80's on my Apple II e. I can't remember the name though, and it has driven me crazy for years. I don't remember much of it since I was young but maybe someone here knows?

What I remember most that stood out was that you could build armor or weapons, custom made. I remember you had to adjust the size for a dwarf, or human, or whoever. You also could make it more or less powerful. I think you could add attributes as well, though I can't remember that part for certain.

You had a party of several characters, an overworld map that you can travel with.

Anyone have any ideas on what this may be?

There are NOT TOO MANY games released on Apple II.
So I suggest you to press Ctrl+F, Search for AppII and then Highlight All.

In that way it will be less frustrating to search for that game.

Hm, I`m pretty sure that there were no RPGs in the 80s where you could make custom made armors. Are you sure, that you don`t mix the memories of different games from different eras?

I'm just throwing these guesses out because the D&D games had a lot of customization like that, and if I remember right, armor had to be suited to the race, and these are the only D&D games listed for Apple II.

Thanks for replying.

Ok it was definitely an old rpg. I graduated in 92 and it was certaibly before that. I did end up buying a pc before then, but i think that was around 91 or 92, so im almost certain it was on my old apple II e (hard as that is to believe)

The fact that you can create your own armor was what stands out the most, so i am certain of that as well.

Now i played pretty much every forgotten realms game back then, in addition to ultima games, and wizardry. Also altered reality games. I know it was none of those, however. I am going to check out some of your links though and ill post again after im done

Thank you so much. I have been trying to remember this name for years, on and off. I would search for it and get nowhere. I found it on the wiki page for games 88-89 on the apple II.

It seems to have been not exactly everyone's cup of tea though. The review scores are all over the place.

Quite nice looking for an Apple II game. I remember the RPG I played on my Apple 2c, and I was expecting some eye-melting horror, but this one looks nice.

Just read the ASM test of the PC version and it made me curious. Had to vote on the wishlist for this game. :-)
