Leroux: It's blocked for German IPs. Maybe for certain other countries as well.

timppu: Sometimes I almost wish World War II would have never happened, if it is really the reason why e.g. Germany has good games banned (or "indexed" as they like to call them).
That's the weirdest explanation for wishing WW II would not have happened. There are several millions of better reasons for that wish. ;)

Anyway, this has nothing to do with WW II, I don't even think Hexen 2 is banned or indexed in Germany, just X-rated (or whatever you call it with videogames, meaning available only to people of age 18+). This seems more like a case of the publisher refusing to deal with German customers in the first place, in order to play it safe and avoid any kind of potential problems they imagine or fear because of past experience.

Become an anti-fascist, do a coup and disempower the nazi regime, then disestablish their nazi rules.

Look, they don't want you to buy it. Just pie rat it and everyone will be happy, plus you save a few euros you can spend on something nice.

Alternatively, look for another store. Why would you insist on using steam..

I've got Hexen2 & PoP on disc, bought from amazon or ebay a few weeks ago :)

I said "almost". I don't really wish WWII wouldn't have ever happened. After all, my grandpa & grandma met due to the war, so without it, I probably wouldn't exist.

That is good enough reason for me to be pro-WWII. Sure there were also lots of dead and shit, but you win some, you lose some. And so it goes.

Steam is the only place that officially sells the games (that's right, they aren't even available from other digital stores). His only other options are to hunt down used retail copies (which are noticeably more expensive) or try to buy a Steam key from an unauthorized key reseller.

I would rather pay a few bucks for a safe and stable version instead of pie. the funny thing is, back in the day, I bought hexen2 and the expansion!
If you think pie is inherently unsafe and unstable, you need to re-educate yourself.
