nothing we use € (euro). But with 0.87 cent I can get water from water tap in my house... seriously 0.87 cent are very few here.

Quite frankly - Norway is one of THE most expensive countries in the world. You can't even shop vegetables or fruits for 1 usd (about 8 nok). The only thing you can get here with that is a bit more than 1 hg of candy (usually 6 to 7 nok per hg), and when the shops decides to dump their prices in a pricewar, it's nothing else than candy and hot dogs. :-)

EDIT: Not far from where I live, they sell "original norwegian food" (yeah right!) to tourists for about 36 USD per plate (not including coffee or soda).

Any sex you pay $1 for is almost certainly going to be worse (in one way or another) than both free sex and really expensive sex. :)

Anyone who charges you for an ass whoopin' is trying to rip you off. Ask around a bit -- you're bound to find lots of people who'll happily do it for free! =D

Any car wash that costs just a dollar is probably gonna be worse than just letting your car stay dirty a while longer. ; )

Others are fine but you'd have to search quite a bit to find a place which serves vegetarian lunch at $1. (in my state at least, would have been easy until a year ago though)
