Well, if the remaster doesn't run for you, you could always go for the classic versions that are included in the collection.

Yeah I know, and that's why I bought it instantly.

I just wish I didn't have to kill so much of my bandwidth just to get the originals.

He lives in Nowhere, Oklanothing. Which is a great thing but has certain drawbacks like internet access.

However unlikely, I still want to see GOG release the full Commander Keen and Jazz Jackrabbit series. Those games were so integral to the platforming heyday of PC gaming!
