The only way I'd be interested in this was if Rockstar remastered it.
Got to admit that if it wasn't free I would have no interest, I have a modded version of Skyrim with the opton of changing the mods as wanted (I have no need of playing vanilla Skyrim again). Enderal , however , I am looking forward to :)

Cinn314: I am assuming it will be classed as a separate game, or maybe I am assuming to much?

snowkatt: well i hope it wil be a seperate game
cause i got a load of mods and im not sure if they wil work with a 64 bit skyrim
That would suck big time if it wont be the same game. My oldie laptop may not be able to run the remastered version.
"What we know about Skyrim Remaster"

Remastered or not, it is never going to be anything like Morrowind, period.

I like morrowind but don't think it's the best thing since sex or something. I actually like daggerfall more than morrowind.

i like oblivion much more better personally
never really could get along with morrowind

and the difference in graphics between the two still blows me away
its just 4 years but its unbelievable

Only thing about morrowind that annoyed me was being some sort of fighting class, yet not being able to hit for the life of me, yeah it was a thing in Daggerfall too but it was much worse it seemed to me in Morrowind.

the only thing i really liked about morrowind was uninstalling it
it never hit a chord with me the way oblivion did

lol I'd still like to complete morrowind at some point. But yeah I liked oblivion too, wasn't a fan too much of the DLC of oblivion but the main game was just fine.
I would be willing to bet that "Skyrim Remastered" will be using a lot of the same codebase as Fallout 4 which means the work done for F4SE will help with reverse engineering this one.

As for Skyrim itself, I haven't played it but I have seen enough of it (on the 360 at least) to know that I would rather keep playing Oblivion if I was going to play any of the TES games. Although ever since I discovered the awesomeness that is the Fallout games (all the good things about Oblivion but in an epic sci-fi universe) I haven't wanted to go back to TES :)

Oblivion is still the best fantasy RPG I have ever played though (and far better than Diablo 2 which is what I used to play before I found Oblivion)

Heh, I'm the exact opposite ^^
Really loved Morrowind. The distinctive and original landscapes, the fact you had to learn the way of the land instead of simply following map markers, the freedom given by mobility magics, the impressive cities (at the time, Vivec was a pretty impressive sight), the monsters, the factions... The overall world design really did grab my imagination.

I was really excited when Obli was released, but it was really a letdown for me. The landscapes were pretty but generic, the map markers and instant movement killed the incentive to actually find your way in the country (and thus I never felt "home" there like I did in Vvadenfell, or in other games like Gothic 2), the UI felt clunky, most NPCs looked stupid, the quests too linear, the imperial capital was meh, the dialog system... Only stuff that I thought were an improvement were the map and the log.
I still haven't finished Skyrim's current version, let alone the remastered one. It's fun to just fire it up and explore...

Sorry. Yes, I meant to say separate game. I want the new Skyrim to be a different game so i can still play the original version when i want. I dont want but i like to keep my options open.
