Personally, I am wondering whether the Fortify Restoration trick (which allows you to quickly improve the strength of fortify effects exponentially) will work in the remaster.
30fps ??? i really hope that it will be 60 fps on ps4

ciomalau: i heard some people who said morrowind was great but i don't know why - i heard you can't even buy a house to store your items unless you use mods.
There were barrels and crates everywhere in the cities and in the various bad guys hideouts, that I used to store whatever I wanted, and some missions had me kill some city inhabitants, leaving houses empty for myr use.
Add to this that as soon as you join a faction, you get your own room, and the noble houses allow you to build your own freaking manor/castle/wizard's tower.
Still not as easy as Daggerfall (where you could buy houses, carts, and even ships), but you get plenty personal storage space in Morrowind. It's just often splattered with the blood of the previous owner ^^

Probably, unlikely for Bethesda to fix anything.
I didnt like skyrim. Maybe i can give it a try since i will get it free on Steam but even thinking about it makes me tired.

WinterSnowfall: There's a bit too much remastering going on at the moment if you ask me... why not let "old" classics be "old" classics and do a sequel or a spin-off or whatever? Skysim City anyone?
I don't understand that too. You get slightly better graphics for quite a high price. Those who already own Skyrim definitely not need to buy it and those who are new, may easily decide for the cheaper version enhanced with some mods.

So all in all it doesn't make much sense. The remastering comes too early. If now it would be priced as low as the old version or only slightly higher - then it would be useful. But $50 seems too much.

snowkatt: What We Know About Skyrim Remastered
... that I can change my "waiting since 2011 for a Skyrim release" stance to a "waiting since 2016 for a Skyrim Remastered release?" ;)
nvm

Speaking of mods, any news on whether the remastered Skyrim will have support for the originals mods? Surely they must be still working with the same engine right?

A comment from the Script Extender (or however it's called) said they think Skyrim Remastered is using the Fallout 4 engine, thus they'll need to do a bit of tweaking to the Script Extender.
So some mods may work, some may not.
