Hm, I guess you never heard of this Christian tradition before? A lot of people from Asia have already become part of the migrant wave to Europe and yes Indians are in that mix too.

Damn, I should have taken advantage of this scheme. On a serious note, why Indians though? There's no wars happening here as far as I know, civil or otherwise. Why don't they just deport them back?

You know fact is that majority of the migrants that came to Europe with the migrant wave are economic migrants that see some kind of El Dorado in Europe which is very far from the truth especially with the economic collapse in most EU countries. This is the category that Indian or Asian migrants fall in to. Very small number of people that came to Europe are actual refugees.

As for sending Indians back - that is only possible if Europe has an extradition agreement with India and India agrees to take its people back. On the other side European companies are going all crazy now that they can get cheap immigrant (slave) labor.

Most of them came on foot and with smugglers over the sea between Turkey and Greece. And they had tons of money. There are incredible reports of how much they payed for transport (it wen't well in to 10.000€ per person). And yes they all said they were Syrians and they had no passport/id cards. Until two months ago Europe didn't have a border at all and everybody could just come in without any checks or anything. I mean how are you going to stop a group of 10.000 people without shooting at them. Now all the border European countries (EU members or not) have put up border walls/barbed wire and set police and army units on guarding the border and everybody has to go true checkup.

Extradition agreements are about how they deal with criminals who go to a different country, when it comes to general citizens deportation is normal procedure if they lack the neccesary documents or aren't eligible as refugees. But after seeing your next post I realized it might be hard to identify Indians passing off as Syrians among refugees. That's probably the only thing stopping them from being deported.

That explains the people coming from Iraq and the surrounding countries and north Africa but what about people from Afghanistan and apparently some India? They can't have walked / ridden all the way?

You got any evidence for that "fact"?
It is know there are those migrating for economic benefit and as far as I am aware there are no official figures. However it is known millions have fled war torn Syria and similar number of people has been trying to get into Europe.
If you are putting your children onto a boat design to carry 12 people with 100 other "migrants" your reasoning is "a slim chance of life" VS "a near certainty death". I doubt any sane parent would do that because of economic reasons.

They probably took some flights to some Arabic country and then wen't further by land. Its known that Arabic countries gave them money and fed them misinformation about El Dorado in Europe.
Please, don't kid yourself. We know very well what is happening. Afterall we had over 400.000 migrants come through Slovenia on their way to promised land (Germany) and only a very small minority of them were identified by government services as Syrians (most were from Irak and Afghanistan). Fact is nobody knows truly from where they come. That's why we sent them all to Germany since Merkel invited them there.

That reminds me, some Indians go to gulf countries as laborers because of the pay being higher than what they would earn here. I guess they are probably the ones who are with the refugees now. I find it hard to believe that people from mainland could go that far.
