Stuck in a hospital bed. GOG curator. Assassinated after buying and launching their first game and only found by police weeks later. Is regularly exposed to morning people and darkness is the only thing helping fight off the urge to bludgeon them. Game reviewer. Old games don't get much search traffic. Owns a laptop that only works with older stuff. Working through their backlog and not wasting time with games they don't immediately enjoy. Edwin Starr.

It's worth mentioning that someone could conceivably write a script to watch certain profiles and note any differences. It's not impossible to imagine, and they'd probably be able to work out times when purchases are likely to occur (and based on the sales and new releases, have a pool of likely possible purchases). We're really lucky that we've never had members obsessed with other members like that, though! Cough.

Games like HuniePop is super common at Japan, and are very popular in East Asia.
Many PC-98 games are this style, or, HuniePop is a spiritual successor of many classic PC-98 games.

HuniePop is Overwhelmingly Positive (12,482, 96%) at Steam.
According to the statistics, it is a good game.

I played quite many PC-98 classics, and I think HuniePop is a nice casual game.
Not super good, but good enough for me to spend 40+ hours on it.

Or they work for marketing... Has lots of hearts in their username or tag line:

I could also have done it with Softporn Adventure (maybe I should have) or Leisure Suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude. Chose HuniePop because it's the most prominent "embarassing game" here. (LSL:MCM ist more embarassing to be known playing IMO - but once the leakage of private friend's data is stopped and I can re-open my profile, I'll use that too, promised).

As for the quality of HuniePop... I liked it a lot. The writing and the voice-over are really hilarious. If you are into that sense of humour. My wife wouldn't like it though...

Personally, I think you should put Leisure Suit Larry 4 as the game you are playing; that's what *my* weird sense of humor is saying.

(Incidentally, I am playing Cookie Clicker (a browser game) at the moment; I am not aware of any similar game on GOG, but if such a game were available, it would be an interesting game from a profile perspective, as it is the sort of game you would just leave running for days at a time.)
