A while back, GOG no longer stood for 'Good Old Games'. This left it in some weird limbo: The only way we can define it is that there's this one sentence which it is NOT an acronym for.

So, what should GOG stand for, today? Let's try and push some actual meaning into GOG! Since I get to select the right answer myself, I'm sure the selection procedure thing will be totally fair and not currupt at all. Humorous entries are welcome, of course, but I really hope to see some serious suggestions too. It gives extra points if you add a few words describing why your acronym is the superior one!

They already have that, it's called the GOP.
GOG over GOG.

(Yes, make it a double recursive acronym.)
Games Of Gold

Gold can be old and valuable and be new and valuable. Gold never loses its value. Plus the COM on the small GOG.COM symbol is in yellow and yellow is used for the color of gold in games.

That kind of talk is sure to draw the attention of Regals, Tauto and Kleetus... not even "snuff and bestiality movies" could keep them away! hahahaha

Galaxy Of Games. They already are going with the Galaxy theme with the optional client software. Might as well just work it into the name and make it official.
