A staple of many US kid's youths from the 90's/etc has been changed in some not so good ways.... I myself LOVED the corny and cheesy band.....I guess the animatronics cost too much to maintain?

"The chain says it's trying to bring in a more modern look, which will be reflected in sleeker furniture, more refined signage (which includes a scripted red font) and brighter lighting."
Great, I am guessing that "sleeker furniture" is that modern minimalist plastic cr*p, and brighter lights? Guess now people can see food stains and the broken games easier than before.
"All locations will soon feature rides and games that can only be accessed using play passes which are pre-loaded with time and money. That means no more tokens jangling around in your pockets.
"Next time you visit your local store, you simply choose the time you want to play, starting at just $9 for 30 minutes of play," a representative told TODAY via email."
If stills a kid not having to carry a bunch of tokens around sounds nice, but they better allow people to carry multiple cards or else people will be getting cut off games likely in the middle of trying to win, thus potentially ruining their experience.
"The menu, reflecting the changing times, is also seeing an upgrade, with items like a cauliflower crust pizza and an expanded salad bar being added."
Because nothing appeals to kids more than cauliflower pizza and salads.

Not even 1 (ONE) person, took my side, or avoided throwing more weight, on my back (or warned me). Good thing i am able to get good readings on everyone, now in advance too, but still... This is sh_tty.
Well, i can afford wasting a bit more time. Few months later i am going to head towards the place i should be in. And i get some more training. I cut the time required to run a full field analysis, in HALF, at least! And i miss nothing, now, details-wise.
Anyway. Trash is trash. I shouldn't feel sad about garbage on legs trying to bury me under waste of their own creation, but still...

My poor feline cat companion of 12+ years passed yesterday afternoon.
We had it for that long after finding it outside during a winter storm(took us a half hour to grab it and bring it in). It eventually warmed up to us and ate like crazy after we rescued it, and became one of my best friends, laying on the corner of my bed or watching me as I typed at my PC.
Over the last month, though, it started getting skinnier and lost it's voice. It seemed fine and was in no pain & was eating well, so we decided to wait it out(plus poor and the cat wouldn't be accepted by most if not all vets due to not having it's shots) and let her go at home is that was going to happen.
Then during the last 1 week or so she started hiding under a small table in a dark corner, and only coming out every so often, until 2 days ago when it was apparent she wasn't long for this world.
So we made her comfortable(nice blanket, cat toys, catnip, water) and waited as best we could.
Now that she's gone, I am conflicted. I am "happy" she's no longer suffering, but very sad to have lost her.
That said, she will be missed dearly....have a good one, all, and give your pets(if any) a hug from me.
GR

fr33kSh0w2012: A couple of days ago we lost our care worker, Little did I know she was playing massive mind games and trying to manipulate my mother and grooming my mother so my mother would excuse her bullsh!t and so she the support worker got her way all the time, So my mother rang up the agency and cancelled her I grieved for two days she was my mothers support worker for 3 years and almost felt like a part of my family bent rules and let me ride in the car to where I needed to go...
Little did I know of this because she hid her bullsh!t well.
If you are here one day reading this Veronique:
WHY did you do this?
WHY did you have to talk so damn loudly? - You know very damn well I HAD sensitive hearing (well I'm nearly deaf now)
WHY did you employ tactics so my mother would give up and agree with you?
My mother had, had enough of the games and bullsh!t that's WHY she cancelled you and no longer wanted you around.
Man I am so pissed off and sad at the moment
Pissed off because I didn't know what you were doing because you know I would have argued the point.
Sad because you used to do kind things.
3 days I was upset and crying over everything.
I'm sorry to hear about your magazine collection man. That's a really shitty thing to happen. Also, sorry to hear about that care worker's conniving, underhanded tactics at messing with your family. Little did I know of this because she hid her bullsh!t well.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. You guys did a good thing rescuing it from that storm, and made a true friend. If you don't mind me asking, why are all your posts low rated? And how did your rep get as low as -1068?To others: Sorry for bumping this....I didn't want to make a thread about it and found this to be the most appropriate thread to post this to)

Thanks....she was a very cute and nice cat and she will always be missed by my family. As for the rep/low rating: Long story short, I hold some opinions and post some things here that a few dislike, so they(along with their bots and scripts) downrate me every day just to mess with me and make me look bad to others(and maybe try and get me to leave).
(Oh, they also try to convince others how bad I am sometimes via PM/other methods.....and lately they have even downrated some who talk nicely to me or agree with me as well)
But eh, what can ya do. Gotta live and have fun with life, and ignore the haters.

They lay low and just low rate those they dislike without replying, and since GOG staff cannot track who rates what they cannot punish them unless they admit to it. (It also doesn't help that they convince as many others as they can of how "bad" I am, despite all the good I try to do every single day here[I answer questions in threads that people post, give out games, try to talk nice to most people, etc].
Also some of them are actual trolls[mainly posting insults against me and others], yet they are more charismatic and convincing, so some end up believing them)

I'm more and more concerned about this new Corona variant which is already causing havoc in England. Supposedly the NHS in London is at most two weeks from being overburdened even under the most optimistic scenario. And this variant is already spreading on the continent too, so I suspect the same will happen here at about the end of January/in early February.

The fact that it's nearly the 10th of Jan, and I have been unemployed since September. Reality seems like a phantasmagoric nightmare with all the birds dying and all the other strange occurrences.
