HereForTheBeer: If i were a true wordsmith, a camera would be unnecessary. Alas, I am not. : )

Thought about it, but figured it wouldn't be prudent to stop along the side of the interstate highway (think: slower version of the autobahn) as light was fading. That, and I REALLY wanted to get home.
It's too bad you didn't mean this Autobahn.

You just made me happier today

The fact that my sister gets in for a visit tonight makes me quite happy. She lives in NYC so we only see each other a few times a year. Probably going to catch the latest exhibit at our art museum and enjoy some overpriced drinks with mutual friends over the next few days.

Rain made me happy today. My city has nasty air pollution during winter, so it's always a good thing.

Made me happy: a deliciously quiet day, today. It's baffling, usually it feels this peaceful only during winter holidays for me. Due to rain and dropping temperatures I figure, but still, unusual.

Two things made me happy today gaming-wise:

#1 The awesome Firek changed a game purchase to a gift code that I could give to a friend - cheers Firek! :D

#2 The good Thomas Muylle of Larian Support stepped in and managed to solve my problem with the GOG codes for D:OS in about two hours - thanks Thomas! :D

And a true GOG release, the good old-fashioned way.

Would have been my #3, if I could have insta-bought it instead of wishlisted. But the wounds on my CC from the summer sale are too deep and fresh, and its tears haven't dried yet... I haven't given up on trying to get it before the discount period expires! ;-)
