Germany won against Algeria in the soccer worldcup.

I just had a really good plum.
I usually suck at picking out good and ripe fruit... But not this time! That was a good plum!

Magic 2015 seems to have added proper deck building again :) Curious to see if that's really the case.

LOL - it's the little things.

I was nearly home, approaching the end of a 400-mile drive from Indiana to Wisconsin. For various reasons it wasn't a great drive. Once I got to Wisconsin the storm clouds were fully developed and they looked awesome. A little bit of rain here and there but no big deal. About 10 miles from home, just as the sun was setting, there was a break in the clouds right at the horizon. The sun was just barely peeking through, lighting the underside of those storm clouds and putting into relief the forested hills, and the horizon looked like the world was on fire. Farther east, to my left, the clouds took on that greyish-pink hue they get when lit from below.

Maybe the coolest / beautiful-est / most kick-ass sunset I have yet seen. Simply stunning.

LOL, I can only imagine the mayhem that would be caused by playing baseball on a basketball court, of course in my mind it is an interior court with spectators.

What make me happy today?
It's more this week but I'm feeling a lot better than at anytime in the last decade. My doctor and brother commented on it so it is not all in my head. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Humanity, here I come.

Seeing how my daughter reacted to her birthday present this morning. She is 2 years old today!

If i were a true wordsmith, a camera would be unnecessary. Alas, I am not. : )

Thought about it, but figured it wouldn't be prudent to stop along the side of the interstate highway (think: slower version of the autobahn) as light was fading. That, and I REALLY wanted to get home.

I am happy today because I found out that the news that Michael Bay would be directing the new Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie was simply the result of someone hacking the official Power Rangers Facebook page and posting a fake press release. For a good chunk of yesterday, I was quite deflated by the news. Here's to hoping this sick prank stays just that. May the power protect us!
