Two things:
1. The other day, I said "hi" to a disabled* black girl, and she said "hi" back.
2. The "corrupt a wish" topic is back.
* I knew she was disabled because she was using crutches.
Edit to fix minor mistake.

You've almost listed all the minorities.
Are you sure she also wasn't a latino post-op transsexual?
BTW, your comment is actually patronising and discriminatory, because you probably wouldn't have said hello or been happy if she was white and able-bodied?
So you're treating and interacting with her based on her colour and "disability".

HereForTheBeer: Or maybe their eyes just happened to meet and linger for a moment, regardless of disparities of race / ability / gender baloneyism, etc. It happens.
Perhaps, but I doubt she would post "I just said hi to an able-bodied white girl and she said hi back". BTW, how was your road trip, did you pick up any hitchhikers, I would've?

Pic from the mangrove boardwalk at the end of my street, about a 2 minute walk.
Awesome place except from now till the end of Summer from all the freaking mozzies.
These things are huge and will eat you alive.

That the mid and upper section of the Kushan Mothership from Homeworld
that i'm building out of Paper/Cardboard looks quite nice.
Now for the lower section and the antennas.
The complete model will be about 70cm/~30inch high.

Watching parts of Final Fantasy speedruns and learning about a rather interesting strategy.
Before the second Lich fight, the player would purposely get two or three party members petrified (by unequipping ribbons when the next encounter is with medusas). This allows those characters to avoid taking damage from Lich's NUKE spell, keeping them alive (but petrified) and saving a lot of healing potions.
Later, the petrification can be cured with Soft potions.
One random fact: In Final Fantasy, a petrified character can still lose turns due to paralysis, and can even recover from paralysis. Of course, this is irrelevant because the character is still petrified, and petrification can't be cured during battle.
(Note that this post specifically applies to the NES version.)

Never thought I'd be doing this. Saw a monarch butterfly earlier today, and then it was stuck on a spider net up in the tree. Took my 8ft pole and rescued it. It's rare to see them around here. I've been meaning to grow milkweeds.

eksasol: Saw a monarch butterfly earlier today, and then it was stuck on a spider net up in the tree.
The spider would have cut it down as those butterflies have a very bitter taste and are toxic. Nothing eats those things, that's why they have bright markings.
You basically interfered with nature, this may very well be Chaos Theory in action.
What one Floridian does to a butterfly can affect the entire world through the butterfly effect.

Yeah my friend told me something like that too and I told him to fuck off, because as far as I see monarch butterfly is more threatened than spiders.
