Just did an awesome shit.

The way it curled like a meringue in the toilet bowl was a work of art; mum was right, I should have been a pastry chef.

It was so awesome I actually thought twice about flushing it.

Next time I'll take a pic and post it here for you all to critique.

Just bought Mankind Divided for $22, damn this game is a 60GB download.
Nice weekend here - weather was near perfect but for the heavy wind today. Got a whole mess of stuff done outside, to prep the gardens for winter. Grunt work, but it takes one's mind away from other matters.

Unfortunately we're only half done, so next weekend looks like more of the same if the weather cooperates again. I'd rather be prepping the cars for winter storage but I can take care of that on crappier days.

You ought to post your garden pics sometimes.

Next spring / summer. Not a whole lot to see now. We can't take credit for any of it, really. The previous owner was a Master Gardener so it's all on her. We're going to change a fair bit, though - simplify here and there, re-plant a lot of things. Might also try our hand at veggie gardening - gotta figure out where to put it and what type of planter to use; fortunately, we have all winter to look into those things.

Er, found some from earlier this year. That's close to the south property line, looking west. Hillside goes up on the left (south). Nice shaded area.

It's lovely, yes definitely grow some foods. Add mulch now will break down next year.
Today is my tenth anniversary at my workplace.

Twelve years ago, I decided to go back to school for computer science after losing my job in retail management. I began my current job as a temp while I was still in college, and they decided to keep me on after the temp period.

Looking back, going back to complete my education was most definitely one of the best choices I ever made. I still get a lot of satisfaction and praise out of my current job, and my wife and kids' happy faces are what make it all worthwhile.

And this is what makes me happy today.
I manged to get the bandage on this god forsaken super meat boy level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvypjYBQm_A

One thing to note for players not familiar with that game:

Getting the bandage only counts if you beat the level on that run. If you get the bandage and then die, the game doesn't mark that bandage as obtained and you have to play the level again if you want it. (Notice, on the replay part of the video, how many times the player died *after* getting the bandage?)

Yep, and I died many, many more times than that player believe me :P The problem is to jump right as you hit the wall otherwise you immediately slide into the lava below the bandage. Sometimes I think I should get a controller for this game. Or perhaps I should just rebind jump to something other than space bar

So green and lovely, I wish my place was that nice.

I wish I just had a decent lawn, it's all stupid bindis and dandelions.

I want to lay naked on your property.

Walking around in bare feet will get rid of the bindis.

If only the whole lawn was that nice. Other areas are chock full o' weeds. Can't go nuts with chemicals since we're on a well and the neighbor has horses, donkeys, chickens, etc. But yeah, that back yard area is nice.
