I've been skipping meals and going without my medication to save up for Mirror's Edge.

Just had a nice cup of Dilmah Ceylon black tea and 4 cinnamon doughnuts.

I consumed this sitting on my porch while reading my local paper, with kookaburras and magpies singing around me.

This makes me happy, extremely happy.

Now, there is a work component. But I actually got the family membership for my wife as a birthday gift because the YMCA where we're at has a huge children's area with a giant tree-house playground, lots of books to read, arts and crafts to do, and so forth. And my wife is a stay-at-home mom, which is probably the hardest job in the world as far as mental strain goes.

So now, at any point in the day (8a)-12p, she can drop off our 3-year-old and go have a relaxing session of yoga, a nice jog, or whatever the heck she wants. She can even pay them $10 more and just leave. Not bad, right?

But we all went last night and got some good exercise in and it was awesome. I'm still feeling it this morning.

Tonight is spaghetti bog night, made with 50% beef mince and 50% lamb mince.

This will be consumed with an ice-cold beverage, probably cola, although lemon is also a possibility depending on how I feel.

For dessert I have a peppermint Aero bar and some Cadbury Strawberry Oreo chocolate.

And just before bed I will be consuming a hot Milo with cream; you've got to be made of Milo.

All this will make me happy, extremely happy.

I prevented a young purse-snatcher from stealing from a unsuspecting passenger twice riding the same bus. I was off duty and i didn't arrest him, poor sob seemed like a deadbeat drug user or some kind of neurotic street-trash (misty eyes, trance-gaze, etc). Poor victim was talking on his mobile so he didn't listen to me shouting at him (he had his bag opened and partially lifted) and everyone around seemed to be lost in their own thoughts, as if in another dimension, looking towards nowhere! Anyway, since i stopped him only with an angry glare (he got off next stop, almost running) and prevented a second theft, that was good and all, enough already. I don't do arrests because they are not obligatory and risk aside, there is no extra reward, heh heh... "I am not more royal than the king himself", as a local saying goes!

Hsi-men-jutsu and saiminjutsu just might be real, after all! Overpowering someone, skipping fight, only with glaring, lol!
